Your comments: Hello, I have a DD 3500 hooked up to two Mobile Spec
1000D Amplifiers. It is in a ported box and it sounds amazing. I have
gone through several different types of subwoofers from Dual to Rockford
Fosgate to Diamond. All of them seemed quite and none of them seem to
really let you feel the music and have amazing sound quality. The car it
is in is a 99 Buick LeSabre, yes it is a granny mobile, but it sounds
amazing. I will never get any other type of Subwoofer again. this coming
winter i am planning on buying another 3500 series and building another
box to put them both in. it will seal off my truck and fire forward with
the ports going forward. Anyways, i was just in a Bass contest yesterday
and hit a 140.3. There is no way i could have done that with my old sets
of subs and they all had 2. Seriously, i have to give it up to you guys
for building the most amazing subwoofers i have ever heard. Thanks, John

Your comments: Hello, I used to work at a place called Bragg car audio
in NC with my buddy paul. I was the first to talk him into trying out
your products. I knew once he did he'd be hooked. I just never got the
chance to say thank you for creating some of the best products Iv ever
delt with . Whall working at bragg I delt extensivly with ALL your
woofers and many of your amps. Once I started using DD I always found
myself finding every thing else....well inadequate! I just wanted to say
keep up the great work. DD's going places and I want it to be the subs I
tell my sons to get when they want a system(I dont have kids right now
so you guys better be around lol) Thanx MATT

Your comments: Just wanted to say that your subs are excellent. I was
running 2 power acustic fubar 15's with a crunch 2500 watt amp in my
excursion, and went to the local get together to see what it would do
and could never get over a 140, tried and tried with different boxes but
kept picking up tenths. The local shop (Wattsound) was trying to
convince me to buy some of there DD's they had there but I was scepticle
about them and to tell you the truth the price scared me a little. But
Rad (Wattsound manager) finally convinced me about 2 weeks ago, we stuck
them i a box built to DD spec for 2 15's (10 cubes after sub and port
with a slot port (78 square inches). We had them running off 2 power
bass 3000 amps that were strapped runing a 1.8 ohm load. Well we went to
a show i Thomasville GA and took second place with a 146.5 in
superstreet 1-2. We got beat buy 3 tenths of a DB top a guy with a 2
door explorer with a wall with 2 FI btl 18's and 2 4000 watt pbx amps. I
think that wasnt to bad for our first official db record. But I have to
say that I will be keeping these subs for a while, I built another box
for it today, double 3/4 mdf on the top and bottom, 7.5 cube total and 4
4" euro ports. Cant wait to see what it hits. But the good part is ill
be in street c for db drag. Thanks for making such a great sub guys, oh
and by the way I did a 4 bace races back to back in the 139.9 class
(beat on it for about 2.5 minutes at full power) and took first place in
that class. These subs wil take some abuse, and i cant wait to see how
far they will take me. Oh and they are the 9515's the old ones with the
triple stacked magnets. Thanks DD Otter

Your comments: Like all the comments that everybody is putting up. Iv'e
been a DD fan for 4 years and still with the same sub (10" 2500 series)
in my chevy truck. Love it!!!! People even think that I have two 12's or
a 15 in the back. All my friends have two or three speakers in their
trunks and i'm still passing them, it's louder and cleaner then all of
there's, and they still can't believe it's a single 10". I plan on
getting two 95 15's for the back of my truck. I know thats going to be a
lot of money and im gonna have a hard time finding someone build me a
custom box and I know that thats going to be a lot of money. That's the
only thing holding me back from buying the two 15's. If I knew how to
build the boxes myself them I would of already had them in my truck. If
you don't mind or anyone, can you please help me out with that problem.
The only boxes I go with is ported. It's louder and better. If any of
you DD fans can help me out with that, I would really appreciate it or
the DD dealership. Just need the correct math and port measurments for
the whole box. Thanks.

Your comments: DD is the best system that i have ever had. DD hits
harder, DD is louder, and DD sounds great on all kinds of music. I love
Digital Design!!!!!!! I will never leave DD. I currently have 8 12"
500's pushed by 2 M2's that are linked together and the highest that i
have been able to hit is a 149.9db. If i do some box work i think i can
hit higher. I have all that stuffed into a 2005 F-150 extended cab. When
i started to use DD i had 4 12" 500's pushed by 1 1700 watt Fusion and
the highest that i hit was a 147.8db. In the passed 5 months i have won
a total of 4 trophies with my two DD systems. I am planning to upgrade
my system to 4 15" 3500's pushed by 4 M2's and i hope to have the
upgrade finished in about 3 months. After the upgrade i hope to win more
trophies while representing my audio club "team protect your ears" and
Digital Design. Thanks DD for bringing the enjoyment of a bass system
and disturbing the peace back into my life.

the DD satellite speakers and the DD 8" powered sub. The speakers were
powered up by an Onkyo 7.1 surround receiver and with a 52" 82 series
Sharp LCD for the television. Not only did it look good it sounded
GRRREAT!! Better than the theater! Thanks DD Brian Smith Marshall

Your comments: Hi from Australia. I just purchased a 3512D the older
model and built a box to one of the DD Examples. It went into the back
of my 96 Jeep XJ Cherokee and man does it pump! i used to own pioneers
before this but this tops it off. I only have it running at 600 or so
RMS with plenty of room for more but i dont think the car can handle it!
Im more than pleased with the product! its such a great Sub and
excellent build quality. I listen to Drum N Bass mostly but man does
this sub handle the Techno beats also.. Thanks for the such great
quality item its not really well known over here yet but ill spread that
DD goodness to everyone i can. Thank you so much DD staff! Cheers John S

Your comments: I bought one 1508 sub from Hyper Audio in Katy, TX and
was extremely skeptical of all the hype I was fed. I used to install
custom audio about 10 years ago and had never heard of DD so after
looking at there design and hearing the hype I decided to give them a
try. I tried a few box designs and ended up with 1.3 cubic feet with a
21 square inch port, 18 inches long. This little 8” sub hits harder and
clearer than my JL 12W3 in a JL designed box!!! Its outstanding to let
other audio enthusiasts hear the deep hard hitting bass, then show them
the lonely little 8” sub that made all that noise. I took it back to
Hyper Audio to show the owner and he was impressed but thinks there is
still more left in it with a better amp. I misses my chance to meet the
DD guys when ya’ll came to Hyper, I heard awesome things about the
little Honda with 3-8” subs. Maybe next time.
Thanks for the unreal quality, keep up the good work!

Your comments: Hey guys, I was just recently visiting your site, although no longer into SPL
competition, I still like to keep up on things (especially Digital's new creations and lines)
as I plan to get back into and build my best vehicle yet (I don't compete officially, just locally
for fun). I see you guys started making the 95 series available in an 18" version, PLEASE keep
making these!!! LOL!!! I used to run two 9515's in a wall setup. I'd LOVE if you guys are still
make the 18 when it is my time to come back as I will run them. Congratulations on the 180dB score
I saw. I got into SPL back in 1997 when I began driving, actually I was into audio since a child,
but without a car dB drag is hard LOL!!! Around 2002 I built my first wall (man I miss the wall).
In my 12 cubic foot wall setup I used the 9515's ( I think C series....they were the first to get
direct connects.....I remember getting them an being freaked out LOL!!!) ....like 12 or 10 gauge I
think....LOVE the new 8 gauge!!!) Well they got me though the 150db barrier, a personal goal of
mine I tried to break for years, I still remember the time and date LOL. Yet it was the BEST most
MUSICAL sounding setup I ever had also.....you guys engineer incredible masterpieces LOL!!!
Thanks guys! Take care! Mike Thompson

Your comments: when i bought my 2500 series 10", i went to a local car audio shop and grabbed a $20 box that was not to the specs of a DD box. it behaved as a "normal" 10 should...then i built a box to the DD specs and wooooo!! now my single 10" is dominating over my friend's 2 JL 12's, he's even pushing more watts. thank you DIGITAL DESIGNS. Keep up the good work.

Your comments: Oh man, i just bought a pair of the 3500 12's and put
them in the back of my ford taurus and its insane, i can't keep my rearview on while i bump them. i got them runnin on two autotek 1500 watt amps and had to get an extra battery to keep these beasts pumping. i
don't know what you guys are putting in the water around there but ive heard nothing like this for the price i got these....simply amazing.

i was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the
original 99Z 10s. i have it in a slot ported box
1.85cu ft @35.5hz powered by my cadence zrs 9000d for now.
i gave up 4 15s in place of the Z and i cant be happier. sure i lost
a bit going down from all that cone area but the Z is NASTY LOUD.
with gains approx 1/4 up
bass boost about the same
sub level on HU at -2
volume at 22 out of 47
the thing sounds like a 15. although the bass is tight and punchy
due to it being a 10. just doesn't have the deep roll off of a 15.
i am very very impressed. DD as always stands up to their
reputation.

I purchased a 3515e and a m1a from DD
Best setup I've ever owned.. The m1a packs 1200 Rms in such a small package.. The 3515e sounds great and performs well...
I've got nothing bad to say about DD and their products..
Im sticking to DD's from now on..

Best damn subwoofers in the world! I love you guys!
Thanks Jessa and Vicki for everything. I really appreciate it all. And btw, my new DD home theater set up is amazing! Better than
going to the movie theater! Sure is pissing off the neighbors
though! Keep it loud! And my 9915's are still tearin up the block
and keeping heads turned! And also, Thanks to all of the coolest employees there that keeps
the place going! You all rock! I'm so proud of you all for having
such a deep passion for your work. I hope to see you all again soon.

I have to say
that being in the car audio industry off and on for about 6
years now, from an installers standpoint. These guys are without
a doubt the most helpful and customer friendly people I have had
the pleasure to work with. I spoke at length with Steve over a
potential setup and for the first time in my life he actually
listened to what I had to say about what I wanted and the way I
wanted to do it. I have yet to get my hands on the gear due to
the fact that I am deployed in Iraq right now, but have no doubt
that as soon as my feet hit the ground state side that DD gear
will be the first thing I spend all that government money on.
Even never having heard the equipment (which I have) I would
support DD 100% if nothing more than for their customer
relations and positive attitude. My only regret is that while I
was still installing my shop didn’t carry their gear and it has
taken 6 years to finally settle on a brand worthy of my
loyalty. Keep up the good work boys!

Had a great time at the SEMA show in Vegas

product well enough that I am interested in making a
purchase. Then he gave me a demo inside the Toyota truck, WOW
what power, clarity and definition these speakers have! They
shook me to the core. Then I continued around the show and
nobody else could perform to your standard or quality! Thanx a
lot Chris LV,NV.

I purchased a single 8" 1000 series DD sub
a few months ago after hearing a friends truck with the same
setup.
I built a vented enclosure to
recommended specs to fit snugly underneath the rear seat of my
2006 Chevy extended cab and WOW, this thing ROCKS!
I am amazed at how this little 8"
sub sounds, in fact, so amazed that I just purchased a single
10" 2500 series DD dvc to replace the PAIR of 10s that are
now in my wife's minivan. I can't hardly wait to hear how it will
sound.
thanks to DD for building a real
high quality product for what I consider a very reasonable
price!
A very satisfied customer!

want to specially thank steve for everything!!!!!!!!
|
10-3-07 All I can say is wow! These subs are
amazing, we have built a box for some 1508's and they are
beating up a lot of 10's and some 12's! The 9512 we got is
killing a lot of the 15" subs we have in the show room! I got to
say these things are monsters, and at a wonderful price also.
Keep up the great work!

I have two DD 1010 subwoofers in a ported box and I gotta say, these
subs absolutely pound!!!! Better than any system i have owned not
many, but enough to know they're good. I plan on adding a third
subwoofer, really soon, but damn these are the best subs that i have
ever owned and plan on staying a DD customer for a long time!!!
Thanks for creating great subwoofers and keep up the good work
everybody at DD. |

I love the features and description of the 99z subwoofers. It
should leave quite a few people scratching their heads... unless
they realize that you guys were just screwing around drinking
modelo on what seems to have been a moderately boring night. The
specs are accurate too i m sure. Pat yourselves on the back for
that, too many consumers of car audio equipment put way too much
faith in T/S even though specs don't mean anything in a real
world environment with massive amounts of power applied. As a
faithful customer of DD I would also like to let you know that I
have never in my life come across a subwoofer with so much
force. I own a 2000 Saturn SL2 and I have all but blown the
windshield out of it with my new composite cone 9515g. I am also
curious to know if DD will continue to make the Z series
amplifiers, I would like to get another 9515g and a Z1a but
these are long-term plans because of the budget I'm on. Don't
make much down here in South Carolina. Anyway just thought I'd
leave a comment since I saw the CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR
FEEDBACK tab while looking at the website. Keep people
guessing.

I was heard 3 blocks away. they are the best I have heard. I plan on
getting rid of my current 6x9's and getting DD's |
